Visibility
Visibility is the foundational metric: how often the AI models mention your brand at all.
What it measures
Visibility is the share of monitored answers (chats) that mention your brand, across the prompts and models you track, for the selected time window. It answers a simple question: in what percentage of conversations do you show up?
How it's calculated
Your Visibility score is the share of the AI answers Vosapio checks that mention your brand — the number of answers that mention you, divided by the total number of answers, shown as a percentage. If Vosapio runs 100 answers for your prompts and your brand appears in 30 of them, your Visibility is 30%.
What counts is whether you're mentioned, not how many times — being named several times in the same answer still counts as one. Visibility is measured across every AI model and prompt you track, over the time period you've selected.
Visibility counts whether you appear, not how favorably or how early. Read it alongside Position (how early you're named) and Share of Voice (how much of the conversation is yours).
The Top Brands table on your Overview ranks every brand by its Visibility, so you can see at a glance where you stand against competitors:

How to read and improve it
A higher Visibility score means your brand is mentioned more often in the AI responses measured by Vosapio.
Compare your score and ranking with competitors to understand your relative visibility.
To improve your Visibility:
- Strengthen your brand's presence across authoritative and relevant online sources.
- Ensure your content comprehensively answers the questions your target audience asks AI.
- Monitor which sources and topics contribute most to your mentions, using the insights available in Vosapio.
